I recently found out that PO Box holders get the following services for free:
* Virtual street address to use to circumvent that "we don't ship to PO Boxes" crap that so many merchants stick to. And better yet, you can have other carriers ship to that address such as FedEx, UPS, DHL, and others and the post office will either put it in a parcel locker (if that post office has them, I know Pahoa and Keaau don't) or you can get them at the counter after standing in line.
* Text or Email when you get mail so you don't have to check an empty box.
* Signature on File service so you don't have to stand in line to get something you would normally have to sign for (assuming it fits in your box).
Here is the link of the paperwork to sign up for the virtual street address: https://ribbs.usps.gov/mtcsa/documents/t...eement.pdf
I don't know about the forms for the other services, when I signed up in Hilo they had a different form to sign up for all three services, plus I had to sign two signature cards.
As this is a newer service, YMMV at different post offices.
