Big Island Hawaii, Conscious PlayParty - with Kink
#11
I think we still have a right to assemble.

One could argue that a farmers' market or live music event at SPACE (or anywhere else) is merely "people's right to assemble", but somehow there are many layers of regulation which must be satisfied.

My argument is that if "the community" insists on a one-size-fits-all regulation when chasing one activity out of their subdivision, then the same rules should be applied equally to all...

Noise limit in Ag zoning is 70db. Safe to assume this party will exceed that level.

At 70 decibels better not run your chain saw don't start that tractor. You want to run a chipper, to loud. AG lot 70 decibels makes about as much sense as everything else the county does.

Wow, cant believe people were all up in arms and wanted to shut this down. While not my cup of tea, its invite and accept only, so its people that want to be there, why would you care what they do in private ? Sound like the same people who are against same sex marriage. Its THEIR life.

Haters, need to stop hating on others that are spreading love, whatever their love may be.

It wouldn't be fair to other things that were shut down for noise, traffic, and lack of permits.

I can't decide if I'm serious or not though. "live and let live" would probably be better.

I'm confused is this a zoning discussion or outing someone's lifestyle

$35.00 per person to attend an orgy? What ever happened to free love? I mean, are they bringing in a team of pros from West Hollywood or something? And what happens if a bunch of bikers show up and want to get their tantra on? I dunno, sounds like trouble to me.

This hardly seems like a loud out of control party if only 11 people have confirmed they are going. Sounds more like a private event for consenting adults. Maybe someone is just trying to stir up trouble?

It says nothing about an orgy. It specifically says, none of that would be allowed. Actually, the guys specifies he wants to channel the sexual energy but nothing else. IDK. Let people be if it doesn't affect anyone else.
