Might try Greenhouse Specialties in Keaau. They seem to handle a variety if sheet plastics, especially acrylic and polycarbonate.

INA Signs in Hilo has the corrugated plastic sheets used for signs. A 4X8 sheet is aprx $30.
They have a white translucent one my friend uses for Shogi windows.

If that is what I think you mean, the plastic is very good at transmitting light. The lifespan here in Puna for exterior use is a year or two, so plan on replacing it. It will last longer if only used indoors, makes a good light fixture.
