Furloughed?

Not sure if I am in the right place, but we are looking to hire furloughed fed workers for odd jobs around the house. Painting, gardening, concrete work, cleaning, ??? We can always come up with something that needs doing!

Tulsi Gabbard, Mazie Hirono, and Brain Schatz all have active Twitter accounts with frequent posts about the shutdown and it's affect on federal workers. You might reply to one of their tweets with your offer, or ask them for help.

HOTPE I don't tweet, but e-mailed the folks you suggested. Do they have any staff to check their e-mails? Dunno….But while there are a lot of people helping with food, I haven't heard of assistance for cold, hard cash for rent and things. Do you know who I could contact locally?
