punalvr has it spot on. For a slightly higher QOS go to the Feds. Less inbreeding.

Kathy, if you knew the locals, they ALL smoke Kools, 99%.
In my native language there is a saying; And it goes like this: "if you can not fight your enemies, join them".. I still wonder about it, but I have managed to be friends, even with the most radical locals.. My house has never been burglarized. I pull my "friends" out of the ditches, on weekends. Most of them are free as informants, and keep ripping people off. Doing drugs, fencing, etc. I am so sorry about the Meek family. My heart goes out. I hope for the best, but it has been too long. You do not leave babies behind. This story seems to have a bad ending. It really does, and I pray he will be reunited with his family. But, at this point. I see a suffering Mother, Kids, Family, and a Lost Soul. punalvr

Occam's Razor says, without knowing the person involved, that this is most likely either an accident or suicide.
Why do some people keep blaming "locals"? Lots of people were very wrong about the Kalapana case, even though it was obvious from the start what the most likely scenario was.

too many weird things here like the boots showing up after the shore was already searched.
the phone in Kaumana caves. The strange text. No tools taken from the truck. Nothing adds up...A real head scratcher kinda looks like someone is trying to cover something up.
One Thing I can always be sure of is that things will never go as expected.

Cause Paulw, we have an ICE infestation. All the way back to Dana Ireland, to the guy that was burned inside his car in Wa'a Wa'a.
All iceheads. That's the truth. punalvr

Dana's killer Frank Pauline Jr was admittedly high on Crack, Not much better than Ice for scrambling the brains, he's doing 180 years.
Seems like he would get pretty smelly before he gets out.

(Bumping) Very disturbing. Any factual updates? Rumors abound, but that is the norm. (Local news varies; street talk is "rumor", etc.) Apparently, allegedly, etc., the "pings" were not "official" at Kaumana Cave.
Continued prayers for him and his ohana. JMO. (O/T: We have had seven (7) robberies and burglaries in one week, within a one (1) block area. With kupuna home alone in one instance, and in broad daylight![!] These brazen punks! Apologies, not insinuating this is a "criminal" case whatsoever. Stay safe all.)

Bizarre indeed. Still a Missing Persons case???
Don't think so. Police should be investigating some of his shifty employees. I was on building jobs at the same time as Jeff and he was supposed to work on a house coming up at the first of the year. He's not the kind of guy to give up and walk away from a difficult situation. It's very unsettling. Everyone is talking about it. The guy didn't deserve this. Jeff is kind of hot headed and didn't hold back his thoughts. My guess is that he got into a fight with someone and it turned ugly. Just speculating though.

In California in the 1980s, a cheerleader at Santa Barbara high, from a wealthy family, straight A student, beautiful, blonde, popular, 'always seemed happy', etc. drove her new BMW convertible up to a guard rail at Big Sur, calmly got out without shutting the door, casually stepped over the guard rail, and dove off a 100' cliff to her death in the rocky surf. There were multiple independent witnesses to this tragedy.
In the same time frame the president of a LA skydiving club, family man, successful in business, popular, beautiful wife and family, tracked away normally from the free fall formation at pull time but flew flat and stable all the way into the ground. No parachute malfunction. He simply never bothered to pull the ripcord. All I'm saying is that sometimes people whom life seems to smile upon do inexplicable things that will forever remain a mystery. --------------------------- You can't fix Samsara. |
