HPP Board 2014
The point is one does not need to live in HPP to comment on HPP.
Assume the best and ask questions.

Too late, all posts printed are to date.

Maybe you will become the next John or Jane Doe in the employee's law suit.

I warned you to watch what you say, deformation is easily proven.

Karma, I have no idea what went on but don't let this opposition group intimidate you. Don't let them force you out.

The mud slinging has gone both ways and the defamation has been recorded.

Board Meeting's agenda is posted and it looks like we're going to get 4 new board members this Wednesday evening. Also posted is employee hiring info.

Noticed that the Oct 2nd and Oct 9th Board minutes omitted the title of the Board's Secretary, an executive member of the board, yet he was in attendance. Was he dethroned? Never heard about this at any of the meetings. I don't think he even knew. [B)]

Looking at the agenda for tomorrow's meeting, I don't see most of the items that were covered in the three invalid October meetings. Does the Board intend to ignore the Bylaws again? Or for members to forget that those items have not received valid discussion and vote?

In addition, I don't see an item on the road maintenance fees, unless it is intended to raise it by way of the Treasurer's Report or a last-minute amendment to the agenda - both of which, while perhaps possible under the Bylaws, seem rather deceitful. Many members, who might consider this something on which they would want to comment, might not realize that this item has to be covered at this meeting and not attend.

"ARTICLE XI - ASSESSMENTS, Section 2. Road Maintenance Assessments. (b) Annual mandatory road maintenance assessments shall be established by a majority vote of the board at a meeting of the board to be held not more than 90 days nor fewer than 30 days prior to the close of the calendar year."

This raises another serious point, for which I cannot find a solution in the Bylaws. Subsection (b) indicates that, if no action is taken before the end of November, the Association cannot assess ANY road maintenance fees in 2015. It does not imply "or they will be maintained at the previous year's level". They are to be established (i.e. created) each year.

After 4 months they either, "still don't know what they don't know" or are being dishonest with the members and not very transparent like they said they would be.
