#1
Looking for a person who can do a consistently good haircut in the Pahoa or Keaau area? Thanks in advance!

Jen in Jen’s Solon in Keaau Village (behind the McDonald’s in that strip mall) does a consistently excellent job at a very good price

I go to Jan’s across from Paul’s. Normally I get my hair cut by Van, but Jan has also has cut my hair. Never had a problem go there. I went to Supercuts over by Malama Market, but if you value your hair, stick with Jan’s.

Supercuts over by Malama Market

Supercuts at Malama Market is closed / transfered to Keaau starting today I believe, until they reopen in Puna Kai in Pahoa this Summer/Fall. Their lease at Malama ran out and they couldn’t renew on a month to month basis.

Well, that was Sherry at Ohana in Keaau... She was our barber for many years . We also had the added pleasure of hiring Sherry and her band for a private party several years ago.
Talented lady ! She went back to college to further her studies in music ... she wants to help promote the budding music industry here on the Big Island. She's awesome & we wish her the best.
Thanks for the posts on a possible replacement. Hubby went to Jan's today.....thumbs up

I called Jan’s just a little while ago & they said women’s haircuts “start” at $35...so the prices must have gone up - a little steep for me by the time you add a tip.
