There's already a Supreme Court ruling on this: reporting information that has already been "leaked" is considered "journalism". See also: Snowden, recent Sony debacle.

Another excellent post.

It is defamation if what you say is not true. Remember, since you heard it from someone else it's hearsay and not a fact and you can and should be prosecuted for your actions.

And don't you just love the personal attacks like, "HPPdog instead of watchdog? By the way Deb how are those no parking "tow away zone" progressing on your road? If I remember correctly that was going to be one of the first projects the new board was going to take care of.

Yes, more lawsuits will definitely help.

No more baiting and trolling for ammo for your lawsuit.
This thread is supposed to be about the HPPOA Booard.

Also, it would be more acurate information about the Board if "Janet" and "Katrina" actually attended any Board meetings.
I checked the lists of attendees at the meetings. Neither of those names are in attendance. "Janet" and "Katrina" are just sitting on the sidelines criticizing.
Try getting involved. Show up for meetings, speak out and get your info first hand.

Who are you that you have access to attendance lists for HPPOA meetings? Are you a board member, or just someone with insider access to HPPOA documents? As a paying member of this association I am not comfortable with someone misusing their access to meeting attendance sheets to attack people on an internet forum, that seems like an abuse of power to me to be using that access to denigrate people you disagree with. Plus people should not have to attend meetings to have an opinion on how a board they are funding operates.

I also think you are lumping together 4 very different people with 4 very different perspectives, as if they are all one here. People do not fall into easy little categories like FOB, FOTE, TE supporters, etc. People need to quit labeling people they disagree with using easy inaccurate labels as a way to diminish their contributions to the discussion.

I don't know a single former employee, former or current board member, I have no personal loyalty or allegiance to any of these people, but I do want the HPPOA board to follow the by laws and act in the best interests of the subdivision as a whole. All of us should want the that, not just divide ourselves into little factions shooting at each other through the internet.

Just an FYI to anyone interested. I was still employed during the Green Waste Build up issue. Originally an RFP went out for the Clearing & Grubbing and this RFP stated that green waste materials would be hauled to the maintenance area to be sorted so it could be reused.

Then the sealed bids came into the office and were then opened at a BOD meeting. As I recall the bids prices were all over the board, lowest was Ludwig @ like 120K and the highest (don't recall the vendor) was around 700K. Ludwigs bid won the approval of the BOD. YES, the Board approved this contract! It was so concerning to me that a BOD that seconded the motion to approve this contract was one who took part in throwing the GM to the wolves (pissed off owners) when it went bad.

Then on May 1st the BOD made a motion for the GM to Immediately remove the green waste pile at the maintenance yard and on 16th Ave. He did request bids for this task I recall 3 vendors responding and the lowest was chosen.

It is my belief that when the GM was instructed to IMMEDIATELY remove he went into action and should not be blamed solely for the cost as he was not instructed to get bids he was told to get rid of it!

It is my opinion that the BOD should have protected their employee (GM) right or wrong and not form a gang like situation that puts them in harms way which is what I remember happening.

I look at these posts for curiosity reasons but when I read posts that are just simply not true it really erks me!

It's really time to move on!

Did you here what happened because of the inept actions of the new board?

The IT contractor has been requesting payment in full for services rendered. The executive committee has been denying him payments for weeks.(giving him the run around) So, when the office opened Monday morning they had no use of their computers or the server.

They called their new IT contractor thinking to circumvent the actions taken. Well they were able to access the workstations but could not use the server where all the data is stored including Quick Books. Today they paid the contractor in full and he will restore the passwords sometime this afternoon.

Don't they realize that if you don't pay your bills any service contracts will be terminated. I would have liked to see their faces when their new contractor couldn't access the server, they got just what they deserved.

Maybe these aren't their real names and do attend like me.

Shocked says:
"Who are you that you have access to attendance lists for HPPOA meetings?"
my answer:
unlike you and the others posting, I am not hiding behind an anonymous name. I use my real name and as I have said before, I speak at most of the HPPOA board meetings uing my own name.
WHO ARE YOU, anonomyous? not much cred when you hide behind your made up names.

Shocked says:
"Are you a board member, or just someone with insider access to HPPOA documents?"
my answer:
I have addressed this just a page or so back. NO, I am NOT a Board member. I have never been a Board member. I am not married to, neighbors with, related to, friends with or in any way connected to a Board member. I have never been to a Board members home. I only know the Board members through the Board meetings.

Shocked says:
"someone misusing their access to meeting attendance sheets to attack people on an internet forum, that seems like an abuse of power to me"

my answer:
What power am I abusing?
your ignorance is showing here. You are making big assumptions and attacking me with your ignorance.
Anyone who has taken the time to read the HPPOA Board meeting minutes from any years would know that at the top of the minutes under the list of BOD attending is the list of guests/members attending.

Exactly how am I abusing my power?
Stop your ignorant attacks and educate yourself.
I have the power to read the minutes and the list of guests/members which is taken from the sign in sheets.
Going to admit you jumped to assumptions?
Stop attacking me.

Shocked says:
"I don't know a single former employee, former or current board member, I have no personal loyalty or allegiance to any of these people, but I do want the HPPOA board to follow the by laws and act in the best interests of the subdivision as a whole."

my response:
I also can say the exact same thing:
I don't know a single former employee, former or current board member, I have no personal loyalty or allegiance to any of these people, but I do want the HPPOA board to follow the by laws and act in the best interests of the subdivision as a whole.

Shocked says I "attacked".
Actually, here is what I said:
"Also, it would be more acurate information about the Board if "Janet" and "Katrina" actually attended any Board meetings."

That is not an attack.
What you are doing to me is attacking me.
Check your facts. Stop your assumptions.
