At least this is somewhat of a conversation; If the whole thread consisted of RJ making post after post and not allowing anyone to respond it would more closely resemble the incident in question.

RJ; Please don't delude us with the notion that you were "speaking for the community". You certainly don't speak for me. It was merely another insane RJ rant Plain and simple.

Thats ok, because "Igneous is bliss"

Rocks generally tumble but stones do roll.

"magma is rock"

that is highly debatable. much more than mere semantics carelessly cast about by the random astrophysicist, to some it might be flowing Earth blood. to others it may be suckled as Mother Earth milk. to yet others embraced as Terra-nectar.

where is the proof it is not these things.

Rock Rolls and so do Stones
Good one!!!!!!!
Oxford English Dictionary (OED) The first definition for rock is “A large rugged mass of hard mineral material or stone.” Its first use comes from Old English, dated at 950-1100. The OED defines stone as “A piece of rock or hard mineral substance of a small or moderate size,” first used in 825. See the difference! All stones are rocks, but not all rocks are stones
stone and rock seem interchangeable to our limited knowledge Genesis 31:46
"stone with stones" "stone them with rocks" You can “stone them with rocks” but no matter how tin your ear is you cannot “rock them with rocks,”
All stones are rocks, but not all rocks are stones. In the
1960s, “rock them with The Stones.” Would I ever like to meet Mick Jagger

I think RJ staged a protest at the meeting to bring attention to the fact that there has been deception after deception from geothermal drilling in Puna and that's simply not acceptable butting up to residential subdivisions. Add to that this area, all of Puna is highly unstable. In a very manipulative effort to get supporters, Native Hawaiians get royalties from the profits. It's a disaster all the way around. Thank you RJ, in whatever form you choose to draw attention to the dangers of geothermal in residential Puna.

Disrupting a public meeting so others cannot have the conversations they came there for is not "drawing attention to the dangers of geothermal" it is a self serving, self aggrandizing attempt to keep others from presenting their ideas and being heard. This is what a small child does when they don't get their way. If RJ wants to control the conversation she should schedule her own meeting, invite the public and see who shows up, not take over someone else's meeting by making a spectacle of herself.
