Miyos does a lot of fish dishes really well, the seafood sukiyaki is amazing comfort food! They don't do sushi, other than the sashimi, but for the other dishes fresh really means fresh there.

Full Moon Cafe in downtown Hilo seems to have a fresh seafood entree or two daily. Menu changes daily depending on what chef finds in the markets. Have yet to find anything on the menu of the day that wasn't excellent.

Have to agree with Southernmost, the Manta restaurant at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel has excellent seafood dishes to die for!

Full Moon Cafe- current chef

Now called "Moon and Turtle", same staff -- chef would have changed the name sooner, but that would have required a new liquor license from scratch.
