New phone books distributed
#1
Hey fellow punatics .( Wow had to spell that three times before autocorrect accepted that instead of lunatics. )
Anyway, just a heads up.
Phone books are being distributed today. So if you have any vacant homes next to you, might wanna pick up the phone book there.
Nothing screams out VACANT LOT more than a phone book sitting there forever.
One Thing I can always be sure of is that things will never go as expected.

What's a phonebook?

I thought it was that thing I was supposed to read before I charged the battery, so I could go on to record my voice mail message, set a password, program the address book...

I wish they would stop the insanity. At phone book time the post office puts out a special recycling bin and everybody removes the phone books from their PO Boxes and tosses them in the bin. In the last two years I've never seen anybody actually take the phone book out with them.

What's a phonebook?

The dead tree edition doesn't support popups or link spam, so works very well in low-bandwidth environments. I actually prefer it.

We wish the paper version of a phone book would include cell phone numbers.

If not, I am moving, leaving Puna for good!
Do they still carry good coupons?
Last time I used one was like 15 yrs ago..
How do I stop the Coconut Paper coming and jamming my tiny Po Box?
Any ideas?
