"Oh gawd....the music. And I mean that in a bad way." I enjoyed the music. The loud breathing noises in the background reminded me of what it's like to work up there...

One of my mo'opuna (the one who got an "A" last time on his Mauna Kea Observatory report []...Yes, proud Tutu, lol.) shared this with me today, found in the DailyMail at school (UK site). Besides the video, excellent article, too:
"The Milky Way Dancing Across the Sky" (From Mauna Kea) http://tinyurl.com/kd5a6jd SO pleased mo'opuna are interested in astronomy! Mahalo, Mr. Tom, and all who educate our keiki. JMO.

I'm impressed! Firstly with your mo'opuna getting an A, secondly with that video, thirdly with the pictures in the article and finally the Daily Mail. I think that must be the first DM article I've read that has no glaring errors!

quote:Oh, thank God, Mr. Tom, no errors! LOL! That one mo'opuna gets to see all the links you (and others) post. He is very "old soul/young body" that one. (He's also following the Hokule'a. Sorry, OT kind of. They are following the stars...[]) Aloha, Sir. Enjoy the evening. JMO.

And another one, this time having some fun!
http://youtu.be/wDGqJy9Qrto I'm afraid in this case our performance wasn't so good... (PS. renamed the thread slightly)

Love it, Mr. Tom..."Born to be wild" indeed.
Look at the young guy (far left) at 5:12 for a few moments...LMAO! WTH is he shaking off? Too funny (watch his face! lol). Levity, again. Mahalo. I hope one day to post a video the keiki/mo'opuna (either one will do) make of their adventures with the "terrestrial elements". Might have a kanaka twist! [] There is a circle of life, perhaps? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8ZnCT14nRc My aloha and best regards to Pam. Aloha Pam (waving)! JMO.

Thank you, Opihikao, I will definitely pass on your best wishes to Pam. Unfortunately she is not doing very well at the moment which is certainly affecting my stress levels...
We're both Elton John fans by the way, so thanks for that video! Our favourite is http://youtu.be/HXP9_TmLZ7g not because it's his best song but '67 was the year I was born. |
