A gust just blew the 5 lb box of dog treats from the table onto the lanai floor - to the great delight of the resident dogs.... ripping pretty good here at 1600 ft.

It is an ill wind that does not blow some dog some good.....

Power out all am in Leilani. Very strong gusts with the frightening snapping/ripping sounds of trees and limbs giving way.

HELCO working to restore power. State of the art tree catching system still functioning.
