I am so sorry. Also my condolences.

I only was able to sit and speak with him one time one on one. Incredible power emanating from him.

An icon of our community.
So grateful to see his legacy on his Ohana.
His soul and life will persevere throughout the ages.
That is what Aloha is all about.
That is the reason why I love this culture.
I knew Puna, I danced with him, his smile eternal, ethereal, and sincere.
My sincere condolences, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Opihikao, a big heart hug to you, on this time of sorrow.
Uncle Robert is now shared thru every heart he ever touched.
That is his, and your family's, legacy

What a pair, Robert and G-girl. Two of the most lovely and talented people to grace this earth. As neighbors, uncle looked out for me for most of my life and has always treated me like gold, he had my back. He was that kind of a guy, so full of love. He will be greatly missed around here for a very long time, he's a legend, a demi-god. I'll definitely be saying my prayers for him.

I don't know very much about Uncle Roberts and G.Girl, but I do understand he was a very important part of life in lower Puna and very much loved.

My condolences to his family, all his friends and all those whose life was influenced by his presence. I am thinking of you.

Heartbroken. Mahalo punalvr.

We spent the day at the hospital with Uncle and followed him home to Kaimu, where he passed with ohana surrounding him. Erroneous report of his death came early yesterday morning, however, thankfully, we had time to visit all day until he came home.

Leaving Kaimu late last night was so difficult. Uncle will be home until today, and then preparations will be made for his services.

Still shocked that Uncle passed on the same day (3 years ago) as our beloved Puna. His children emulate Aunty G Girl and Uncle's strength, and pure aloha.

We will all miss him so much. Mahalo to all for being a part of his life. Uncle loved all of us. Mahalo ke Akua for this precious, loving man.

As Uncle always said, "Aloha kekahi i kekahi" Love one another. That we shall do in his honor.

Aloha e. Aloha e. Aloha e...

Just heartbroken.
