Creep Steals Girl's Heart Money
#11
I just talked to the girls at 7-11 across the street from the smoke shop. Apparently the police already have their names. They knew exactly who they are, but didn't think they would be showing their faces around anytime soon. They are going to find out what a b*tch karma can be!

Speaking from personal family experience, for some people there truly is no other choice, unless they want to die young and painfully. So unless you are the family, a cardiac specialist, or the family's health care practitioner you really aren't in a position to be voicing an opinion on this.

Rob Tucker: Any merit in setting up a Punweb donations conduit through this forum? If so I'll make a donation here. If you think the base is covered already then I'll swing by Irie.

I am a bit reluctant because I have no contact or connection with the family to transfer funds.

Rob,

About Punatic007's comment (below).

How can you allow this kind of crap on Punaweb? Punatic007 certainly has no evidence that this has ever happened. And this ridiculous allegation has absolutely nothing to do with keeping the topics Hawaii related.

Just got back from Irie to make a donation. The manager told me that many people are doing the same. I hope Maddie has some big cousins.

You're right. I had not seen it. It is removed. Believe it or not I don't read everything posted all the time....

Scumbags got arrested.

Big Island police have arrested a man and woman after they allegedly stole a donation jar at a Pahoa store.

Officials say it happened at Irie Hawaii Smoke Shop on Monday.

Surveillance footage shows the couple apparently walking around the shop before the man snatched the jar.

“As soon as my worker was busy with another customer, he grabbed the container that was full with the donation for Maddie and stuck it in his sweatpants and then continued to make his way out the door,” said store manager Jose Miranda.

That very jar was set up to help an 8-year-old girl, Madisyn Tamaki, with funds to receive a heart transplant.

Miranda said more than $200 had been collected.

“The best thing coming out of it, you know, was the outpour of support,” he said. “Once the town got the news of it and everybody, they just been coming by dropping more money, not even buying anything, not even coming in the store, just outside giving us money, like here give this to the girl.”

The couple has not been charged.

The store has now moved the donation jar behind the counter.

The other choice is letting her die. Her heart already doesn't work, she's being kept alive by being hooked up to machines. What do you suggest?
