I am not going to take any sides of your wars you are creating, I do believe in living and letting others live. I have lived in the acres a few times in the last 40 years and can say it is a different yet rural type of living. The roads in and out of the acres has always had problems. Definitely try your best, but Even if you were to fix them all by grading and graveling, it probably won't last long. The rains and floods really take their toll throughout that subdivision and its roads. Better get on a boogie board if you want to leave that area after one of our 30 strait days of rain episodes, maybe a good 30 inches in 24 hours will make you float out as well.
Hey go easy on our golden oldies(Mimosa) offer to help in some way besides taking action yourself then blaming others when you find yourself naked. Go easy and welcome to the isle.

mike the roads are for the record "bad" i drive in and out every single day last year i spent $1800.00 on wheel and undercarriage repair on my car , and another $600.00 rods repaired on another car and my truck $675.00 repair the truck is not driven everyday. everyday driving kills your car and i am not even going there on a minor under scraping . my road has not seen any repairs for over 2 years .
laurie , last i heard of lived in hilo keaukaha , she is mad as a hornet because i invited the county prosecutor to a road meeting and he looked at her and said you need an audit . she had been the sole bookkeeper for HACA and HARC for 10 years . she resigned her job shortly after that meeting .
true i dont visit much with neighbors , only by phone i work almost everyday of the week and am very involved in many community events either volunteer or as a participant .
the Pizza place i have heard about somebody in the upper acres selling pizza out of their house , seems kinda funny to me what they set up a kiosk or something ??
my suggestion is that you slow down on the unimproved roads to spare your vehicle the wear and tear that seems to happen to your super suv ,,, there are several small sedans that travel the exact same stretches of road you are mentioning and I don't see them crying these huge crocodile tears ,,,,

Barry - I strongly suggest you seek help. There is something wrong with you. I don't know what the problem is but there is help available. If you are employed, you might be able to get help through an employee assistance programs. If you are not employed there are other programs you might be able join for free. I urge you to get help no matter what.

You are such a piece of work its almost amusing! And not that you have any right to know but actually, I have no problem telling about myself. Main reason I resigned in 2009 after 10 years was that my business took a better direction, higher pay to focus on all bookkeeping & payroll services instead of office management. I had several other clients already when I resigned from OM services. My business services are highly respected and I have many clients that I have worked for, some longer than 14 years, which I still have as clients. The prosecutor was Mitch Roth back then. I welcomed his presence at that meeting because he validated my work and the Board's efforts and dissed your "issues"! It was never my decision to have an audit done or not; that's a board decision. However, I was ready & very willing to start the audit procedure immediately if the board so chose.
