Who's getting rain?
It feels really close in HPP, the dogs are very nervous the way they act before a thunderstorm hits, but no rain yet.

We've heard thunder off and on in Orchidland since yesterday night but its really been rumbling the last hour or so. No rain yet but definitely the sense that it is coming. And yes our dogs also have the "thunder is coming" behaviors.
Of course, catchment tank is full, showers came yesterday to water the lawn, so if it wants to skip our house... all the better.
ETA: 2 minutes after I posted this, precipitation in OLE.

It started here at 6 pm, half way down HPP. On and off ever since. The tanks are full, but the plants and aina sure could use a good soaking. Hope there's more to come!

It was just a teaser here in Hawaiian Acres. Enough to wet the leaves but not nearly saturate the ground.

I can see blue sky to the southeast, and dark clouds to the north west but no rain here today much.

Nice light rain most of the night. Still no puddles, ponding. The aina's just sucking it up. Another week or two of this, and things will get green again.

Any areas in puna or hamakua that still got rain through the drought?
