I MAKE STUFF UP. I saw that on a tee shirt a couple of years ago. Could have been several of my personal favorites on Punatalk. I really miss Opihikao Bob and his tales of UFOs and aliens body-scanning us. I think Rob discouraged him. But we still have pahoated. Police reports show what? 50% mainland haole transplants. And how do you determine that, Ted? Been reading police reports that detail race and place of origin? Or do you make stuff up? "Many new transplants are flush with money from dealing meth." Where do you meet these people? And your use of hanohano is curious. It means honor, dignity, distinction. But keep on making stuff up, Ted. And, Rob, please let him ramble.

Yeah microage97 I agree. Somebody pulls into your driveway and says they are looking for some phoney sounding person/ address click a few photos of them with your phone while you converse. If I were to do this id be armed with my piece in my back pocket too in case they are serious thieves and want your phone after the pictures were taken.

Just thought of another thing since someone tried to hack my gmail account the other day. I won't tell you how I know for obvious reasons.
Some of these people may well be hanging out near residences trying to hack household wi-fi routers. You don't need to be too bright to do this as long as you have a laptop and the right software. It would explain why they drive so close to homes but don't actually break in.
Obviously I don't know if this is what's going on, but the hack attempt and the time of these characters driving around the neighbourhood are not very far apart.

Most consumer-grade routers can be exploited remotely; clearly, these people are trying to "steal" bandwidth, probably because they can't get it at their house on the next block.

Peter, just for the record ~ I never said aliens scanned him, just that he was scanned,it was probably a drone run by the SSG.

Would you get this info over to HPP Neighborhood Watch and Kaloli Point Neighborhood Watch (PAKA)?
Since you live in the Kaloli Point area you are probably aware of the patrolling the PAKA does. It would be good to have an email from you describing what to watch out for.

Thanks for this important info. I had never considered that cars parked with people in them could be hacking.

Definately sounds suspicious either way - probably best to stay away from Kaloli point!
