I had it for several months and, although not cheap, the unlimited plan is more than enough to surf, watch Netflix, or whatever. I didn't have the phone service, but had no problems when using Skype. Occasionally it goes down and during one of those down times a few weeks ago I called Hawaiian Telcom and they actually had an available port! I don't know who was more shocked, me or the CSR who said in the 3 years he'd been there, he never said yes to anyone in Orchidlands. Be aware Exede has a stiff cancellation penalty if you don't keep it 24 months.
