Seriously, call Tree Works. At least get an estimate. They have several certified arborists on staff and all the right equipment. I rarely give referrals but these folks are the real deal!

asly, have you considered just killing them with milestone or are they close to a house?

Can just girdle or ring them if you are SURE that they are far enough away from anything - no poison needed!
