Hawaiian Acres Problems
Kinda reminds me of Mexico in the day. Stop signs provided by the soft drink companies ....ALTO in big letters - underneath in smaller print "pepsi"

3rd world solutions, to first world issues - grin

An apparent violation of County Code, hopefully we can get some more lawsuits going.

Hi, can you please explain to me how these signs are a violation of County Code when the signs came from the County? Please include the HRS code, so that we can make sure our community is in compliance.

Hello, I haven't heard any reactions about the signs yet (positive or negative). If you could point anyone with complaints or suggestions to the HARC office, it would much appreciated.

Also, if anyone has any suggestions for Stop sign locations, please feel free to let HARC know. There are a limited number of signs, but we want to make sure our community is as safe as possible.

CFscott , did signs really come from the "county" isnt there a special department that handles roads and signage. i think its called public works . so how did the councilman get the signs and circumvent the system.

Although I'm not privy to the interworkings of all the County departments, I believe the Councilman worked with the DPW for us. I don't believe there was any circumventing. I appreciate the conspiracy theory but this is something to be thankful for, not something to drum up suspicion. Literally any person can order a Stop sign, so let's take it down one notch.

HARC isn't creating, defining, redefining, eliminating or changing any of those things.

So please explain to me how the stop signs are not in compliance? Or are you saying the County itself is not in compliance?

CfScott,

Don't know how many you have.

I think a good way to use them would be to mount in concrete filled tire so the signs are moveable.
Try out @ tops / bottoms of roads and way down on 1.

Or put them up on 1 just before the biggest holes for now.

Interesting idea! I wouldn't have thought to do that. I'll bring this up to the others. Thank you Smile
