Hawaiian Acres Problems

You must be on one of the boards, or closely associated. Maybe one of the "haters" they talk about. Always ready and waiting to pounce. Why is that ?

For the last 3 years we have paid our dues to each organization and we have NEVER received a ballot or any sort of notice in the mail or email or FAX,letting us know of meeting times or any changes .
In addition , no road work on the roads we travel on has been done in 3 going on 4 years,except by residents them selves.
This is the last year we are paying our dues to each organization until we see some progress and regular maintenance .
Seems only roads that get repaired are roads to board members or friends of board members homes .
There is no notices of meetings that we can see on the entrance signs at Ainaloa connector lot and 9 road and we travel that way daily.On road one we do not see any meeting notices either.
We do not have face book .
Where are these posted ?Any one know ?

Again: if the board were "transparent" about how they plan to spend the dues collected, so that people can make an informed decision before giving money, then no problem.

Insead, vague noises about "the community", as if it's all-inclusive, when it obviously isn't.

Wow! So rife with inaccurate statements!
1. Have you called/written/talked with anyone about making sure your mailing address is current? We aren't psychic, you've got to keep us updated. Send an email, make a phone call, tell me here, stop by the office.
2. I have no idea which roads you travel on and there are some that hadn't received work in some time before this year. As it stands, EVERY letter road has received rock and maintenance this year. Residents do contribute- as they should since they own the road lot. I personally have put many hours of physical labor into the road I rep. Your constant denial of work is absurd. Check out our website to see how much work you haven't noticed.
3. I thank you for paying your dues in the past. It's only in working together that we can do anything. If others paid their dues then we might be able to improve the roads instead of just adding rock.
4. Half our board double rep roads, so it's not possible to repair roads only to your own home. All the roads in HA lead to a friends house.
5. Recently someone has stolen our beautiful laminated meeting signs. We will replace them as soon as possible. Such a waste of dues money to keep replacing stolen signs.
6. Please look at our website. Everything is on there. Financials, minutes, county links, meeting times, board members, payment options, road assessments, newsletters and more. You don't have to have FB stay informed, you just have to be willing to see the information put in front of you. www.hawaiianacresroads.org

why don't you ,,and your small band of trools,,haters,,and sockpups ,, ( instead of stonewalling the new assoc. boards ,, ) run for the positions yourselves ,,then you can make all the others look bad by doing a better job then all the rest ! you could set the bar , so to speak ,, for all of the poa and crc to mold their own groups after ! you and your cabinet members could easily do all the things you have been crying about these man years ,,,,, and as a bonus ,,you get to pave the road to your house !

im not sure ,,so you will correct me if im wrong ,,, but I don't believe the board or office staff is responsible to you or any member on a daily basis ,, I don't think they have to get your approval in advance ,, or required to show you the receipts ,, as expenditures are made . I do think they are required to make a financial disclosure report to the paid members once a year . and your comment about the farmers market , is so sad ,, you are so petty as to log jam the mrkt. and keep people from socializing,, bartering ,, trading ,,and selling ,, buying ,,, to make a few bucks ! do you honestly think anyone will ever get rich down at the market ?

here we go again ,,, I guess you didn't notice the condition of the road when you moved here ,,, maybe you thought you were getting pavement ,, but for all these years the roads sukd then and they suk now ,, nobody promised you a rose garden or a paved road ,,

CF, inaccurate i am still wondering how much the load of material cost i asked about on C road . what was that about 1 truck load somehow material has not reached my end of the road for going on 3 years . that tiny amount of rock that has been sprayed on the road is a mere drop in the bucket when it comes to the severe poor condition of the roads. where has the money been going for the past few years. a huge unnecessary amount of money is being spent on office/administration. half of your board what there are 3 or 4 of you self appointed people controlling everything unquestioned.
your laminated signs, how much did they cost ? is there an invoice? beautiful laminated signs, yes that was a waste of money.

nathan ,wolf,barry lots of name calling . and yes you are wrong the board Is accountable to the membership at all times that is part of the oath they took. and they are required when requested by a member to show the records and financials . you have plenty to say but have no vested interest as you do not own a property in the acres.
the market was not a market once again it was a handful of people hanging out blocking the road for their own amusement .
