7 EQ of at least 4.9 or more today since 11:45am HST in Solomon Islands. (my EQ app is set for 4+ so there may have been smaller ones).
Then there was that 4.8 in Las Vegas...
Some guy in the netherlands is predicting a 9+ on West Coast on May 28th at around 2:30 PDT (????).
San Andreas (the movie) is out on May 29th.

Are you talking about the dutchsinse.com guy?
I've watched some of his videos, and caught a few big errors when talking about our volcanoes, but he has been spot on with a lot of other analysis, so I just don't know what to think about his predictions. He sounds like he knows what he is talking about, but then he will get something really basic wrong, and leave me scratching my head. Have a lot of friends and family on the west coast, so I hope he is wrong, but the whole PNW region is overdue for some big seismic activity, either volcanic, earthquake or tsunami.

I'm flying to the west coast on the 29th so will provide a disaster update if necessary.

Hope you and Pam don't start the big one!
. Kidding aside, enjoy your limited time with her before work beckons you back. Be sure to send yourself enough potted cream? And other goodies scarce on the islands via flat rate!

Yes that is it.
What amazed me is the almost specific time (2;30 pm).

Okay, so when he's wrong, which he will be, then will everyone realize he's a complete idiot and stop listening to what he has to say?
No, I didn't think so.

I dont believe him at all. What was funny to me was the specific time. 2:30 pm?? And the video itself is pretty hokey.
Having lived in California for my first 23 years, EQ predicting has quite the voodoo aspect at times. Any one remember "earthquake weather"? Although in 2006, I was sitting on our lanai here in Kapoho and said to my hubby "if I was in California, this would be EQ weather [hot,dry, breezy]" and not 3 minutes later that earthquake on the West side went off. That kinda spooked us!!! [}

But what spooked me more that day was Kapoho had power while most of the island did not. Now that is really crazy!
