Gun shots somewhere on north end of Red Road?
#1
This morning beginning around a little after 7 am - we heard 2 (what sounded like) "big gun" gunshots. Then 45 mins later another one and about 9:30 a fourth and fifth one.

Anyone else here these?

Not in your area, but a regular occurrence in upper Orchidland. Pig population is unreal this year.

imagine if everybody in upper Puna posted whenever they heard gunshots...
we'd probably overtax the server.

Cat, folks were setting off fireworks near the lighthouse last night. Sounded like gunshots until we saw the sparkles. Could be the same people setting of leftovers.

Single gunshot (loud!) off Pilikai rd at 5:45 Sunday....MORNING [V]
Seems like they could hunt a little later in the day?

Or maybe if you wanted more peace and quiet you would have bought 50 acres out in the country.

So this is tacit permission for me to do likewise. [Wink]
