mini split or ductless a/c

Anyone know where / who sells d.i.y. mini split air conditioning systems on island or neighbor islands? thanks in advance

Wonder if Amazon will ship AC units to Pahoa? This one looks nice, supposedly the compressor is a toshiba unit that uses less energy. The higher the seer # the better. This one is pretty high.

I guess the deal is, while these may cost more, you get it back in energy savings.

I checked with Home Depot and Amazon

Both retailers will not ship the mini split to hawaii....me thinks its the fact they are pre charged ...not sure however

I have a vacuum pump and gauges ....shipping one discharged may be an option if required.

Gotta be someone installing them. Pahoa Post office has one and both banks in Pahoa have them.

Maybe the PO or the Banks will give you some information regarding the units. That would be neighborly!
