Best macnut composite source I know of is the Hamakua MacNut base yard in Kawaihae industrial area, $25 for a p-u truck load. Greatest expense is the gas to bring it to Puna.

Pahoa Feed & Fertilizer just got in mac nut mulch - 1/2 nuts, not composted. I am using it to cut back work in my garden bed. No fire ants in it.

They also just got in hapu'u in different lengths.
