The History of the overthrow told by Hawaiians
#71
Kaimana,
IMO, You don't represent "Hawaiians", you represent a growing illness that is sweeping through this nation. Spoiled to the core decedents of a once hardworking peoples who built a nation comprised of many cultures. Now that the Nation building is done, many of it's decedents minds are no longer fixed forward but rather backwards, looking for answers as to why they are not where they think they should be financially or otherwise. Spoiled children who want to do nothing but blame everything today on the past while completely missing every blessing that has been afforded you by the blood sweat and tears of those who came before you.

I'm sick and tired of hearing all this moaning from ungrateful spoiled children and grandchildren (decedents) of men and women who GAVE THEIR LIVES in defense of these islands, this Nation, Europe, Asia, etc of all cultural backgrounds including its native peoples, here in the greater Pacific and upon the mainland. You seem to have no clue as to the state of this world back in the 1940's and what sacrifices it took to bring back peace and stability on a global scale. You seem more entranced with creating division and discordance for your own personal gratification based on your own perceptions of long ago ancient wrongdoings and other perceived nonsensical selfish gibberish. It's sickening, disgraceful and a spit in the face of all our ancestors and everything they accomplished. It's nothing more than whiny spoiled ignorant nonsense.

You're entitled to your opinion, but my only gripe is that the evidence points to Hawaii bring illegally occupied and as someone who has served in the US Army and done two tours in Iraq, I feel that sovereignty is the most sacred thing on earth. So for the country I risked my life for to protect it's sovereignty to have stolen from it from Hawaii rubs me the wrong way.

Also I have never once said anything bad about the US. I think it's a great country. It's no longer there greatest country in the world but it's still a great country and I am thankful that it was them that occupied us instead of someone else but that doesn't, IMO, mean what they did was right.

So again, you can have your opinion on me, but your post shows exactly who you are.

Again you have no valid argument so you're playing on emotions.

So why would you post this other than to say that America should have killed all Hawaiians? Again your true colors shine through.

I took it to mean that Hawaiians had killed off all the others who were here first.

"You're entitled to your opinion, but my only gripe is that the evidence points to Hawaii bring illegally occupied..."
-----------
That isn't 100% the case although some people want it to be true.

"Yes PM2 please check your reality, I suspect you've stroked yourself so much you're running dry. At least the tone of your posts these days suggest ever Five Finger Mary must be having a hard time pleasing you."

It was getting late, dakine was getting "tired and emotional". It's not easy when your distorted version of reality keeps colliding with actual reality.

Assume that Hawaii is "illegally occupied" as a provable fact.

Further assume some "official" recognition.

Now what?

Door-to-door DNA scans followed by deportation of anyone with the "wrong" blood?

Hawaii enjoys substantial subsidies from the US Government -- when the military has been "sent home", what will the New Kingdom do for money?

Without domestic security, projects like the TMT won't even be contemplated; some would consider this a "huge win". Again, money: after tourism and tourism (and tourism), the mountaintops are the only asset -- no agriculture, no mineral deposits, no oil.

Not that there's likely to be much tourism for the New Kingdom. Part of the appeal (in my opinion) is that Hawaii is a US State with that "rule of law" thing -- without which, tourists will find cheaper places to visit.

"You can have 10% of this dollar, or 100% of nothing."

the oldest Hawaiian Island that is still above water is over 30,000,000 years old (Kure)
Kauai about 4,500,000 years old
the Nene (goose) has been in Hawaii for 500,000 years
After Kamehameha's mass slaughters in taking over Maui, Oahu, the Big Island etc..... The so called HAWAIIAN KINGDOM lasted about 83 years total (1810-1893) ...and will NEVER truly exist again...
aloha
Isn't that what Hitler and the Nazis tried to do ? Wipe out a whole race of people ? That's a tactic that one culture or group of people has inflicted on the other. Wipe them off the face of the earth then there isn't anyone left to seek revenge or compete with for resources or property or food.

save our indigenous and endemic Hawaiian Plants... learn about them, grow them, and plant them on your property, ....instead of all that invasive non-native garbage I see in most yards... aloha

The first person to invoke Adolf is the person with a mental health case in my experience. BTW what happened to those Menehune folks?
