Eight more TMT protesters arrested on Mauna Kea

I did not know that OHA was giving out money to people affected by the flow.

The TMT protesters have spent so much time with lawyers that they are starting to think and talk like them. FWIW it will take an amendment to the US Constitution and a 2/3 majority in congress for Hawaii to secede from the Union. Not going to happen. The protesters are people with a lot of time on their hands fortunate enough to live in a country where they do not have to spend every minute scrounging for food. So they come up with other things to do. I'm just glad I'm in Hawaii and not Europe.

At least our unhappy people aren't blowing anything up. Yet.

I'd like to address the Rationality Holocaust perpetrated and perpetuated by the protector camp.

Whoops! Orange County is not Puna or even Hawaii. Sorry, I am so Island centric now - the collective 'we' no longer includes the mainland!

Europe is doing just fine, as is demonstrated by the thousands of people who are desperately trying to get into any EU country they can. Syria on the other hand is a train wreck.

And we are officially so far OT we have entered Syrian airspace!

we have entered Syrian airspace!

I'll bring it around back...

...Syrian airspace, the perfect height for any Hawaiian Protector or either sister Trask to look down and observe real cultural genocide, real government persecution, and real deprivation of human rights. Lots of rocks and bricks in the road though so that's a little like home.

Otherwise, nothing remotely like Hawaii.

Funny - It is good to remember the average is two years - before transplants turn tail.
