Some of my favorites. Just recently saw Ledward Ka'apana, and Mike Ka'awa on the mainland. AWESOME show! Wish I was there to see this ;-)

Admission only $10! I've paid twice that much just in service fees for tickets for concerts on the mainland.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend, but I'm thinking of buying a ticket just to support the cause.

Love Cyril, a living legend. These are THE BEST of the slack key artists.

You're right about the website. Kind of lacking. Could be because I can only access it with my phone right now.

I remember years ago you could buy a DVD of the concert. Is that still possible?

Thanks for your support (there were more than twice the amount at this event than last year)! Wow...was it good (a nice way to spend a rainy afternoon)! Boy, Can Makana play the guitar or what?! There was a father/son band (from Kona I think - can't remember their name) that we're also outstanding (very versatile - doing Hawaiian & a beautiful country sounding song)! So nice to have an event like this each year!

The festival was a real treat. Great musicians, each playing a handful of tunes in their own styles. Wonderful lineup and incredible bargain at $10. I hope it gets more hype next year because this is a great event.
