Team up with H22 and take a small percentage each time it's aired!

KFVE called today and said they were hoping to be up by tomorrow. He said 25 people had called and he's calling everyone on tne list and would call again tomorrow. I politely pointed out that if they had gotten it working earlier, they wouldn't bemaking as many phone calls.

Hey H22 do you ever look at the gsauctions.gov site? One time I saw the FCC auctioning off an RF something and it was $10 with no bids. I didn't know what it was so I looked it up and somebody was selling a used one on eBay for $6,000. I was going to bid on it closer to the end hour but forgot to.

Just a quick search I found this lot of stuff: http://gsaauctions.gov/gsaauctions/aucal...CI16073013

ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC PROPERTIES MEASURING AND TESTING INSTRUMEN 1 Salisbury audio/visual AC voltage detector model 4244 1 Sony digital camera- 9.1 MP, 15x optical zo om, Zeiss 1080HD lens, comes with remote control 1 Astro-Med Dash II model MT chart recorder (with ex tra paper) 1 HP 5315A Universal counter- voltage 1 08-126V (serial # 2536A20347) 1 HP 8920A RF communications test set(serial # 3344A03594) 1 HP 8920A RF communications test set (serial # 3344A03595) 1 HP 5347A Counter/Power Meter (10Hz to 20GHz) 1 ANR ITSU ME462B DS3 tes VARIOUS 89827752020004

of course new stuff is posted there every day, you kinda need to watch for awhile to get a groove on the types of things that are available. Some agencies only auction stuff off once a year or so.

terracore,

"I get 17 channels in Orchidland with this: http://www.amazon.com/ClearStream-Indoor...007RH5GZI/"

My Clearstream antenna arrived yesterday but am delaying trying it until the channels come back on air. In the meantime, do you have to adjust its position much to pick up all the channels? Their claim is it has a pretty wide angle of coverage (~70 degrees) so am curious about your experience.

Thanks.

"Haha! I hope so!!"

Best of luck with the qualification, H22, you might end up making a big difference to hundreds if not thousands of people if you're successful, and hopefully increase your own income.

No pressure of course!

Talk about bad timing!: The Eddie is running (at last) and apparently is being broadcast live on K5, which I believe is 9.1, one of the channels we've lost. Dang. Sure hope they'll rebroadcast it later on an OTA channel we can watch, or at least some extended highlights.

Seekir, I am watching it live on Quicksilver's website. It is still Round 1 Heat 2, so there is still much to see if online is an option for you. http://quiksilver.com/surf/events/eddie-aikau/

No streaming out here in Fern Forest unless you have satellite Broadband. Even then it doesn't compare in quality (in my experience) to digital OTA HD. Thanks anyway for the suggestion. The OTA K5 broadcast ended at 9:00 according to Dan Cooke — he actually responded to my whining email and request for a rebroadcast (and also suggested internet). No indication that a rebroadcast will occur, though I'm hoping for extensive highlights tonight. Dan's response:

quote:
Hi Michael,

Tough break. We continued our coverage on K5 to 9am. Same format as what you saw on KGMB. Do you have internet capability? WSL (World Surf League) is streaming. Also, I believe CBS News channel website is taking that feed.
Dan

I also have all my normal channels back as of 1:00 today.

This evening all my regular channels are back. 9-1, and the 13s are missing for me, but that's normal. I've also received the antenna terracore uses, but haven't set it up yet, but will do so soon and report results.

Thanks to those who contacted the stations.
