loffelkopffl,
Your right, the 4x4 posts/metal roofing method is what I remember was done about 30 years ago. I wonder if this is the new & improved design. Is the ring and etc the "code" design? There's something new all the time!

Sorry HaDave. Maybe I got the name wrong all together. the guy I met and his wife Soffie, moved from Atlanta and were building at Honokaa. Anyway hope to meet you someday also.

Yes loffelkopffl the ring and cinder blocks are to stablize the walls. You don't know if needed tell they dig. If needed $1500. add.
It now has the metal ready for cement. I will
post that pic to clarify. The depth as per engineer.

I'm very excited to see these. Something special about seeing the process in the same neighborhood, with the same type of land & such. I hope you continue to post these photos. I'll be there for a week & half in May so I'll have to stop by and meet you guys.

Hi Wyatt,

My excavator contacted me that they were going to start our cesspool on Thursday. I've been working over in Pahala on a remodel job and won't get to see what has been done until today. I hope it looks as good as the job there doing on your property. Rick Moore is doing the work for me. He has gone out of his way to work me into his schedule. I told him there was no hurry for the cesspool but was in need of getting a hole punched for the temporary/permanent power pole.

Hi Royal,
We have been fairly fotunate with contractors.
We are very happy with cesspool contractor.
The temp. power pole only needed to be 18"
minimum in ground. Helco has the spec. sheet
if you don't already Have. Have fun and good fortune on your project.
