DraftKings and FanDuel were even involved with a FBI probe over some of their employees cheating on the games at the customers' expense. Play at your own risk, for sure. Never trust an internet gambling company either! The software can do anything they want it to.

There is plenty of gambling in Hawaii. Organized crime isn't going to let the legal variety interfere with their profits.
All that being said, if Hawaii allowed even a few legal Vegas-esque casinos in our tourist meccas, the river of tax revenue flowing into the coffers could fund schools and significantly lower taxes.
On the other hand, prohibition has been so incredibly successful each time government has tried it lets stop dreaming.

Look at the other states where officials promised they would reduce local taxes if gambling were legalized. It rarely happens. Gambling is however, extremely effective at extracting money from the poor.
