I stood behind somebody at the Kona Island Naturals paying with EBT yesterday and it was working fine. I wish I could afford to buy what she was getting. Doesn't sound like a company problem maybe it has something to do with the processor's Pahoa connection to the state welfare system?

Once upon a time, there was an aardvark whose only pleasure in life was
driving from his suburban bungalow to his job at a large brokerage house
in his brand new 4x4. He hated his manipulative boss, his conniving and
unethical co-workers, his greedy wife, and his snivelling, spoiled
children. One day, the aardvark reflected on the meaning of his life and
his career and on the unchecked, catastrophic decline of his nation, its
pathetic excuse for leadership, and the complete ineffectiveness of any
personal effort he could make to change the status quo. Overcome by a
wave of utter depression and self-doubt, he decided to take the only
course of action that would bring him greater comfort and happiness: he
drove to the mall and bought imported consumer electronics goods.

Mahalo Terracore, EBT is probably working in Hilo as well. From my chats with Pahoa employees, they don't understand it either. I'm just curious ... the welfare system or the digital money processors? With all the voter fraud going on, who knows with these machines? Hope our privacy isn't hacked!

Last week the Foodland in Keaau had the same problem. They couldn't take EBT or (in our case) debit cards. It was resolved a couple days later but it seems there is a ghost in the machine or something.

Unwashed masses = Those in the community who do not bathe for weeks at a time.
Those who wait till thursday when clothing ( used ) is free at the Kea'au Recycle center instead of washing their cloths .
Those in the community who over use the scents of patuailly instead of washing their bodies or using some sort of organic product like some sort of incense in liquid form to mask the body Oder from weeks and months of body sweat and or washing in the ocean at Kahena beach clothing optional with just ocean water and no soap .
Just sit outside Pahoa naturals and smell for yourself .
The EBT works just fine at Island naturals at Hilo shopping center .
And now is welfare week - meaning all prices are up except lost leaders for the next 10 or so days .

Well, voting machines are basically the same as ATM machines. Why can't anyone get an explanation as to what is wrong? The retail staffers don't seem to know. Voter fraud today is more obvious than ever before. So I guess the machines are get hacked??? If so, are they collecting EBT private info? Maybe a conspiracy against the unwashed masses, -?(LOL). Kinda scary thought ...

Voting machines => voter fraud => ATMs => EBT fraud.

I've lived a long time in Puna but even this came as a surprise.
