Double sided tape around the edge of your screen?

I have a gecko that jumps out from behind my computer monitor and onto the screen from time to time.
He chases the cursor round and round and round, and back and forth and back and forth...
I hate to say it, but I'm not sure which of us is more involved, and interested in the activity.

Thanks, everyone, I particularly enjoyed MarkP's reply!

I managed to catch it this evening. I put a small piece of chocolate cake in a food container by the TV and the bait worked. While the gecko was enjoying the cake I sneaked up and covered the container. I released it several hundred yards away, so if it makes it back I'll be very impressed!

It's not back yet and hope it's enjoying a more appropriate environment. I celebrated with a shot of Bushmills. No ice or water.

However, the little bugger left behind enough droppings I had to clean the screen twice...

Reminds me of a Jaguar owner's joke:

Q. Do you know why the English serve their beer warm?
A. Because Lucas makes refrigerators too!
