Kenney - apologies, I thought it was obvious, but perhaps not. If you look at PT's posts they are generally complaints and grumpiness about everything and everyone, hence "sour old codger". The connection to sour old codgers and 70s hippies was made by PT.

No problem at all, Kenney, I took no offense whatsoever. Occasionally my British sense of humor takes over despite knowing sometimes it isn't that well understood in the US. Can't change that, though. At least these days I'm making a big effort to spell words the American way, but occasionally I'll slip up... []

wow... so I went through the roundabout last night... no stopping, everyone kept moving and no stopping in the roundabout. Was highly effient for a change. I was Amazed! Almost felt like I was on the mainland for 15 seconds.

Maybe puna is learning how to use a roundabout! Whoooho!
