This is an interesting article that includes the TMT project and others like it. The sheer size and technology involved with these new age telescope projects are very impressive to say the least.

The Hawaii Supreme Court issued two decisions today, which may have positive implications for the TMT project. The Court affirmed the project management plan, and the conservation district use permit for the Daniel K. Inouye Solar Telescope on Haleakala.

Most of the recent ones have been from individuals asking for extensions and responses from UHH to various motions. The latest submission, from Kamahana Kealoha, caught my eye. Thought I'd post the first bit without comment (apologies for any formatting issues):
