Hollywood in LE
#1
Please don't hate me, two prominent(?) Hollywood figures just bought a property in Leilani Estates. Don't be surprised if some others from there will try to keep up with the Jones and your neighbor will be Sean Penn! Smile

What are designer pants? Is that what an architect wears when drawing a new house?

They'll most likely not even notice us as they will probably build 6 or 7-foot walls with gates around the property.

It's my hope that these Hollywood liberals don't make a habit of this.Hoping they stay away from HPP!

"hollywood liberals" or any liberals are always welcome in "liberal" puna. unless you haven't noticed there are many liberals in hpp, LOL. actually that's one of the reasons i and i'm sure thousands of others have moved to puna in the past, is because it is very liberal, it was that anything(almost)goes attitude. to me hawaii defines liberal. my hope is that those "red" necks stay home, lol.

Hey! I live with a redneck!! But although he thinks you should be able to carry a gun - he also is pretty liberal... what would you call a liberal redneck? Actually that could fit into the broad punatic category!

But actually I find some of the rednecks more helpful and honest than the group with "their Issues and boundaries" who don't respect others issues and boundaries.
I also think using the term "redneck" is about like using the word "fag" or a slur such as "pake" in pidgeon. That would not be acceptable so why is it okay to call someone a "redneck" as a derogatory term?

Just things to think about! Wow! I think i veered way off from John's Hollywood post!! ha ha

That's the beauty of Puna -- all are welcome as long as they are accepting that their neighbor may be very different from them. Live and let live. I don't care that the Jones (Starr or Catherine Zeta?) or Sean Penn are here -- I'd just like to see Sean make another GOOD movie, he's got a lot of talent that seems to have been wasted recently.

You folks have time to watch TV? Sheesh! It has gotten to where I can now look at the odd newspapers at the grocery check out stands and not recognize a single face. Ha! If it doesn't have a keyboard, who needs it?
