The price of production comes out to a little more than $104,000 per unit.


From the pictures, it appears that a "unit" is half a 40' container, or about 160 square feet. $104000/160 = $650/square foot.

Less surprised, more disappointed.

The original $1.2M for 32 units would be closer to $235/sf, which is something like double the price of conventional framing.

Using old containers to save money?

Now I want to know who approved this thing. Also I want one for myself.
