Grass overtaking Gravel Driveway
#11
I agree with mowing the gravel driveway. speaking of driveways: I have seen some new concrete driveways turn black in a fairly short time. I wonder if a sealer would keep the fresh concrete look?

I know I likely won't convince people on this, but nevertheless I encourage people to read up on glysophate, and exactly how toxic (or not) it is relative to other "natural" solutions. My guess is that many of you would be surprised at how non-toxic it is to the soil and the organisms in the soil, how little is needed to be effective on plants, and so on.

Separate from glysophate, I also recommend pre-emergents in conjunction, to keep new weeds or grass from sprouting in the first place.

Old coffee farmer told me to use a diluted solution of round-up. Not enough to kill the grass, just stunts it.

On areas near the house where I don't like terracore to mow I toss down chicken feed on the clumps of grass and weeds. The chickens scratch it up and kill everything.
