Disney princess...Polynesian style

Has anyone noticed promos for the latest Disney flick, Moana?

It's set on a "mystic island in Polynesia" with a very Hawaiian feel. Oahu girl Auli'i Cravalho plays the lead, "The Rock" plays Maui.

Lilo got a bit of flack so I think they tried for a generic mystic island. Here's a funny rant about people complaining about Moana:

If you do go to Moana, make sure you are there for the Pixar short "Piper". Totally awesome CG animation!
