We have a "TJ`s Nutcracker" from Australia...the Capt. Cook location was sold out when we ordered, but may wanna try
It is totally awesome (& you guys can borrow ours, as it is not a full-time need for us) http://www.tjsnutcrackers.com

I also stopped in to see the "Captain Cook guy" and will agree that his contraption is the bees knees.

That's actually the cracka I'm looking for- just wondering if there is any way to get it on the East side. I contacted the manufacturer and they told me the Captain Cook location was the exclusive distributor for the entire state. I guess the manufacturer doesn't understand how islands work which would be weird because they themselves are on a gigantic island, or possibly they have a money allergy since putting all your mac nut cracka eggs in one coffee growing basket is just... a weird strategy.
Thanks for your offer Carey but it's for a friend on Maui who hasn't been able to get one. They do sell them on amazon (sometimes) but the markup is insane. Or is it? I thought they went for about $45.
