How did ancient man cause these things? They didn't.

ancient man... with a population of 500,000 instead of 7 billion, and the inability to dig and burn trillions of tons of coal, oil, natural gas, wood, etc. every year... cause these things. They didn't.

Thanks Eric for the detailed insight. L-Dude, planetary evolution is very complex but we do play our role in it, the degree of which is the crux of the debate. The idea of geoengineering is no different than terraforming. It's doable which means it clearly could be happening, whether accidentally or purposefully. Supposedly cows are geoengineering through flatulence, just as dinosaurs did, theorized to have caused the first ice age....so if dumb beasts can do it accidentally, why can't industrious humans do it purposefully? I never presented a personal opinion that it is currently happening but that it could happen.

Please, aggressive men, go elsewhere....some men and women actually enjoy a good theoretical conversation. I notice you mention only women as trolls, is the female perspective not welcome here on Punatalk? Not so many females I notice.... why would a woman subject herself to this form of abuse?

It's not a woman taking their aggressions and personal problems out on line here. A woman is trying to have a conversation but keeps getting attacked by hostile men. Gypsy, hasn't even contributed but is also getting attacked. Don't you have anything better to do?
Paul W you've been disrupting this post since the minute it started. If my best friend or family member was acting as reactionary or erratic, I would tell them the same thing, to cleanse your liver. While it could be percieved as a swipe, Chlorella is widely known to be a chelator. Calm down and ease up on the coffee man.

You missed the point, again. Climate has changed all throughout time and continents and islands have been created, sunk, moved around all by themselves. Man didn't do it then nor is man doing it now.
