Just get one of these "chickens". Your dogs might have second thoughts and you may scare away anyone snooping around your property as a bonus. Please warn your neighbors in advance!

btw, we now have the pigeon caged. We stopped putting out food but he kept coming back. So we finally gave in, put the food in the cage, and used the ol' stick-and-string trick.
Posted on 2 FB pages, plus my timeline and will post on Craigslist shortly. Hopefully someone with pigeons will step up to the plate and take him.

Found a pigeon keeper who has taken the bird and will try to find his owner from the information on the leg tag. If he can't locate the owner, I'm confident by the way he handled the bird that the bird has a good home!
