We moved from Oakland on Wednesday.
I worked in Fremont for ten years.
880 was no fun.
I don't think we'll make this Punatic Gathering (still getting things set up in Volcano) but will keep an eye on Punaweb for the next one.

I have been a little burried with several sick friends rotating thru the house; haven't had much sleep this week and I didn't get the garage and lanai as cleaned up as I would have liked. We will all live with that, but I realized the saw horses I need to hold up the table tops are under some lumber and junk that I can not lift. I will be depending on a few of the earlier arriving guys to help out with that... so if you bring a willing spirit and a little lifting power, we will be good to go!!

Mahalo Everyone for joining us. If the voices and laughter indicated the response, everyone seemed to have a great time. That alone warmed my heart.

I was in my element, bossing everyone out of the kitchen and whippig out scrambled eggs and pancakes. We had so much wonderful food. As always with this group, it all just seems to work out. We had great fresh coffee, Mimosa's, juice, fresh fruit, breads, cakes, quiche, fruit pizza... AWESOME.... and killer ham. Just too much to list it all but I sure had my fill and everyone seems to have enjoyed.

I want to give a special thanks to Pam Jones for hanging out and doing final clean-up. However, hats off to everyone because much like the wonderful giving people you are, you all did just that bit to clean things up after yourselves and a couple extra steps, and I was left with no real mess at all. Makes it nice to host these.

We made some good contacts for people who offer great new services and information for one another. I saw smiles, hugs, new friends, old friends and just every combination of a great gathering....

Keep doing all your sharing on the web. As time unfolds, we become a stronger and better community by helping one another on so many different levels.

It was a wonderful gathering and I would like to thank Pam again for hosting. The house is beautiful, the day was gorgeous and the people were great. I can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday morning.
