There's your problem right there: HPPOA is post-Statehood.

You opened that door! For someone who lives in Kapoho, you sure can't help posting about HPP stuff.

You and your husband fast forwarded HPP's decline with the chip seal project and the neglect on our roads and shoulders. You guys are responsible for that.

Huh, apparently Kapoho is the most expensive area of Puna, and it's close to the tide pools and stuff, I like that. Sounds like that's the ritzy area of Puna, there's houses there that go for over a MILLION dollars!

Please Obie, don't give the board any more ideas. If HPP has been going downhill, the board might remember it's on a mountainside, and they'll try and charge us a Sacred Mauna HPP Fee next year. To build 8000 Mailbox Ahus.

You could never convince a monkey to give you a banana by promising him limitless bananas after death in monkey heaven.

Therefore, all subdivisions are sacred land, which means no permits are required for any "protective" activities...

My backyard is sacred ground by golly, and I need the protectors to come and save it from the mongoose and the coqui and the fire ant!

Hey glassnumbers, I live in one of those million dollar houses (not the owner). It's expensive, but still Puna. People get ripped off and there have been a couple of murders in the past couple years. Anywhere oceanfront is expensive BTW.

Comments, assumptions and an attitude like this from people who live in HPP, (I assume you live in HPP, leo), are much more relevant to HPP's "decline" than whatever Obie posts.

The Puna problems of pernicious people is understood, but on the other hand, it must be awesome to live in a MILLION dollar home! it must be huge, and beautiful, and you can go out at sunset or sunrise and be right there on the ocean! I'm jealous of that for sure [Big Grin]
