Why put an experimental Geothermal power plant in the middle of an Ohia forest to begin with? What, No other volcanoes in the world to pull steam from."
1) Why not answer Kenney's question rather than posting yet another question? You made the claim, you answer it.
2) There are other volcanoes in the world that are used to generate renewable energy. However, there's this little issue about how that energy could be brought to the Hawaiian Islands. In addition, those other places in the world might object to having their renewable energy diverted elsewhere, especially to people who wouldn't appreciate it anyway.

What are you rambling about ? There is no PGV "ROD's GROUND ZERO".
The Ohia around PGV are healthy and blooming.
The Ohia that are dead were caused by the albizia trees out competing or by damage caused by falling albezia.
Obie, Top of the morning to you. I am rambling about the ROD and where it first started.
I had called J.B Friday who has lead the research for ROD back in 2011. I called him again in 2012, asking and inviting him to come out to leilani and take a look at the dead, dying or next Ohia for himself. The Mayor who I also called several times must have also asked J.B to come out and look because he did call me and set up a viewing, He brought a friend and student with him. Soon after seeing the hundreds of already dead Ohia They named it rapid ohia death and gave Leilani estates the brand of "Ground Zero". They also said that the winds were spreading the ROD like a wild fire.
As you know Obie, The PGV power plants sits a couple hundred yards below Leilani and the prevalent winds blow through PGV and then up through Leilani estates. The Rod was rapidly spreading up the Helco power line road on the Kahukai side of leilani from the PGV before it reached my yard. There was dead or dying Ohia trees down by my wife's parents house on Ho'okupu st at the bottom of Leilani before the top side of Leilani. This is why I will never forget how the ROD was moving up Leilani from the PGV area.
The worst spread of the ROD came just after the Hurricane or Tropical storm Iselle in august of 2014. During that Iselle storm the PGV had a blowout or release and also found that they indeed had leaking production from a very old well. Maybe it's all a coincidence, maybe it's also worth some independent studies. The PGV power plants are a close neighbor of Leilani estates, which has all been deemed Ground Zero for the worlds first ROD outbreak. PGV blowouts, releases and un-contained waste from the power plant have been known by locals to kill OHIA trees in the past. This is why I can not dispel the possibility that the mutation of ROD came from the PGV or surrounding properties. jmo's

So you no longer think that Bob Patricci of Pohoiki started the Rod?
Your personal attacks on local folks here are warrant less and childish. You did nothing about the Rod except try to cover PGV's ass. My guess is that you "OBIE" are a retired airline employee who has money invested in some way with the PGV.
I could blame you and your kind too but most of us here on PW already know you would buy your way clean from any blame. jmo
The county of Hawaii, OHA, Helco, the State of Hawaii and others have made millions if not billions on geothermal near my home.
Why not have proper comparing Data kept, or on going environment and health studies from around the PGV area?
It's all about keeping Geothermal energy "green" and the drilling experiment here in Puna has been anything but that.

I have stated over and over that I do not live in HPP and I am not a she.I didn't claim you made a death threat!
Gypsy is claiming that PGV is causing ROD.Why can't I claim that he caused its spread ? He is the one who reported that the Ohias around his house were dying and then it spread all over the island

I believe Obie's claim that gypsy spread ROD is, in close reading, the more likely possibility. It's simple and direct; ROD started near gypsy's home, gypsy "discovered" it, as I would guess an escaped, mutated fungus from plant breeding experiments?
gypsy's claim on the other hand involves a vast conspiratorial network of "county of Hawaii, OHA, Helco, the State of Hawaii and others", the drilling of deep wells and insertion of secret chemical compounds, perhaps brought here by alien visitors and offloaded at the Kaimu Starport, before earth mercenaries trucked them to PGV. It's all in the thread.
Additionally, Obie didn't make the superfluous claim that gypsy made hundreds if not thousands ($) between Obie's various homes in Kapoho (as a male) and HPP (female).

High winds caused faster dispersal of a virus which is known to be wind-borne.
PGV is merely an epicenter of human activity. To suggest that it "caused the virus to mutate" is ludicrous. Nature evolves.
Example: current-generation coqui frogs are larger than the original because they've adapted to the new environment. Should be blame PGV for that too?
