radio technician license test

Anybody have the deets on where/when the next exam is? I'm not interested in joining a club.

I emailed the fellow who has given the test at the LDS church in Orchidland in the past (found email from punaweb search). Will let you know what I find out.

BIARC used to give one every couple of months at the community college

it seems like it is almost time for the big island radio folks to have their get together in the park, which is always in the paper and open to the community. anyone can walk up and take either test that day. hubby did last year and his license came in a short period of time after.

Thanks. I haven't studied the material yet so tomorrow is too soon. Do you know when the next test is, and do they charge a fee for the test?

$15 for testing. Call Doug # posted above, and he can probably shoot you an email with future dates. I'm one of the volunteers who help give the test, I'll try to post the next one I hear about. It's a great hobby, and a useful one in emergencies.
