Where are the Druids?
Or at the very least, the Druid Facebook supporters?

No "malahini" meltdown just a 47 year resident the location is bottom half of Hawaiian acres road 10 . Numerous reports of this to Hawaiian telecom . Not a tree hugger just a resident that believes more respect is needed by Hawaiian telecom . They do not have the right to level the area . Yes they have easement on the poles and lines but that does not extend into private property 20 plus feet and give them the right to clear cut the area . I wish I could post the pictures of the damage that has been done . I'm not for stopping progress , but let progress happen in harmony with the Ohia trees and respect for the area ,residents and forest. And yes I do hope it stops the cable installation from moving forward until Hawaiian telecom can figure out a way to do it properly

Well thanks to your hysteria I had to call Hawaii Telecom and thank them for all their great work in clearing the lines in HA just in time for hurricane season.

There is no hysteria , that is your own perception of it . I posted a factual statement Nothing more and to those affected by it it is very real and unpleasant . If you perceive to see yourself as mayor of puna I suggest you take a look at the Hawaiian acres Facebook page and read the comments on this subject .
My mistake to post on punaweb .

No; your mistake to lead with hysteria instead of verifiable facts such as the location of this travesty. Still not 100% clear which part of Road 10 is the "bottom" half. Did you mean the dead end past D?

(Clearing by Telcom makes no sense from a logistical perspective -- especially down there -- which leaves me just curious enough to drive out and see it first-hand.)

There are several HA facebook pages, so here's the link OP failed to share.

Sounds like several ohias were cut, but they were under telephone/power lines, so well within easement. https://www.facebook.com/groups/hawaiianacres/
