Last night's sunset was the brightest, craziest sunset I've seen in years. Bright bright red, stretching on forever. Mesmerizing!
Did you see it? I hope no one missed it! Anyone know what causes such a phenomenon?

usually reflection of the clouds... Probably the remnants of the failed hurricane/tropical storm.
Hmmm, I missed it tho. Where were you when you viewed it?
In Hilo on 4'th of july (the failed show)... I saw one of the best sunsets. Maunakea turned about every color imaginable. It was worth it to go just for the sunset. Amazing.

I saw it coming around the Hamakua coast and into Hilo. Beautiful contrast between pink, red, and blue...

It was a spectacular purple color from here. One of the best sunsets ever. Mahalo !
