They should have waited until after the one in Pahoa opened before remodeling Keaau.

I'll bet they're doing what downtown Hilo did - they made left area a pickup only area - so you're not picking up from the registers. And different person fills the order than takes it. It's gotten a lot more efficient.

When I went thru drive-thru today it was relatively quick even for lunch hour peak time. Construction workers were dismantling the roof overhang and jack hammering on the side closest to the parking lot. Looks like a pretty substantial reno job.

Hmmm - sounds like expansion for sure. You could build a McDonald's right across the street and do well.
